During the month of January we had a slight decrease in the number of incidents that occurred, even though we were still moving large volumes of goods around the country.

The number of incidents reported seems high, but in fact this is good that we now have our people reporting incidents at the time that they occur as we are able to mitigate any risk of serious injuries occurring.
We still need to be vigilant in the jobs that we do and make assessments of the risk that may be involved in something we do and aim to minimise or eliminate this risk to ensure that we all get to go home safely at the end of each day.
Remember, if you see something that could potentially be a hazard and cause injury to someone then please let one of your managers or myself know so that this risk can be removed or minimised.
